Prior to the season, Bell served as an operations assistant where he monitored the football budget and assisted with team travel. With the knowledge gained from her education and experience, McCutchin brings several skills and competitive advantages to Texas Tech. During his one season with the Aggies, Bell served as the Director of Recruiting. In that role, he was responsible for the day-to-day recruiting operations. Bell also assisted with organization of team travel and oversaw their annual summer camps.
This includes pre and post-workout meals as well the training table locations at both the Frazier Alumni Pavilion and United Supermarkets Arena. Bell oversees the non-coaching activities of the Texas Tech football program. This includes departmental budget, personnel and staffing, recruiting, academics, team travel, summer camps and all other day-to-day operations.
McVay was a three-year basketball letterman at Southeastern Oklahoma and also was a three-time conference champion in the yard run. McVay and his wife, Chele, have two daughters, Kelly and Heather, and four grandchildren.
In his role, Reed is responsible for the recruiting activities of the football program, setting up official and unofficial visits to campus while also helping the coaching staff identify prospective student-athletes.
Ramirez, who joined the program prior to the season, serves as an academic liaison for the football staff where he works to help develop life skills curriculum and coordinate all community service activities. Reed began his career in collegiate athletics as a Dir. Reed has worked under three head coaches during his career, beginning with Leach and then Tommy Tuberville and now Kliff Kingsbury. He was promoted to Director of Player Personnel prior to the season. A Waco native, Reed graduated with his degree in exercise sports science from Texas Tech in Ramirez returned to his alma mater after playing nine seasons in the NFL where he saw action in 83 games, including 65 starts, with both the Detroit Lions , and the Denver Broncos He returned to the Lions in where he played in all 16 games while making seven starts.
The Lions drafted Ramirez in the fourth round of the NFL Draft after a stellar four-year career as a Red Raider , His selection marked the first time a Red Raider offensive guard had been drafted since when Russell Ingram was taken by Atlanta.
Ramirez helped boost a Red Raider offense that regularly ranked among the best in college football. He was an All-Big 12 second team honoree in and was twice named an honorable mention selection. It remains the largest comeback in bowl history. Stovall leads the sports medicine unit at Texas Tech, serving as both the primary administrator and a hands-on athletic trainer. Stovall joined the athletics department after spending nine years as Director of Clinical Services at Lubbock Sports Medicine.
While at LSM, he worked alongside numerous orthopedic surgeons that provide care for the plus student-athletes at Texas Tech.
He was in charge of day-to-day operations of the clinic while managing the durable medical bracing business, sports medicine outreach contracts and marketing. Prior to joining Lubbock Sports Medicine, Stovall spent six years as the Sports Medicine Manager at Covenant Health Systems where he oversaw the day-to-day operations of the sports medicine department. During that time he provided coverage as an athletics trainer at a number of area high schools.
Stovall lives in Lubbock with his wife, Denise. They have one daughter, Kassidee, and one son, Kooper. Kevin Crawford. He attended Monterey High School. After a successful start to his practice he accepted an invitation to do a Sports Medicine Fellowship DR.
