On offense, it seemed like the speed and shiftiness could get running back CJ Verdell drafted even after an injury cost him nearly all of the season. Instead, Ducks fans were forced to wait until after the draft for any movement to occur with non-Thibodeaux Oregon players.
McKinley quickly inked a deal with Miami to reunite with Jevon Holland. Verdell signed with the Colts along with fellow Pac running back Max Borghi. Brown and Williams united together in Baltimore. Wright, at least as of this writing, remains unsigned.
Or, is this just an issue where NFL general managers made a mistake? The answer to these questions is probably some combination of everything, although time will be the biggest tell.
