Bottom line: Centennial rolled to a blowout win over Temecula Valley despite racking up penalty yards on 14 penalties. It was the second time Centennial has surpassed 50 points in a game this season, and the Huskies have scored over 40 points in each of their four wins.

Bottom line: Skyridge followed up a thrilling win against Timpview last week in a battle between the top teams in Utah with a blowout win over Westlake. Lipscomb improved to with the victory and in one stunning sequence, Lipscomb’s final three plays of the first half were all touchdown receptions by Sherrill for 43, 65 and 76 yards.

Bottom line: Denton Guyer racked up rushing yards in a win over Prosper to improve to in the district opener for both teams. It was the 34th consecutive district victory for Duncanville. Bottom line: Chandler’s defense posted its second consecutive shutout with a win over Notre Dame Prep to set up a rematch of last year’s Arizona Open Division state championship game against Saguaro.

Frances Academy picked up yet another impressive road win, this time traveling to defending Florida Class 8A state champion Venice for the victory. Frances racked up over yards of rushing against Venice, including an yard touchdown run by junior running back DeJuan Williams on the first play from scrimmage in the second half.
Frances hits the road again this week for another big game against unbeaten Dutch Fork from South Carolina. Thomas Aquinas improved to , and its defense picked up its second shutout of the year with a road win over Western.
Senior Rashad Henry led the Aquinas defense with a yard interception return for a touchdown. Aquinas quarterback Champ Harris was efficient on the offensive end, going 6-of passing for yards and two touchdowns. Junior wide receiver Chase Robinson had two receptions for 50 yards, with both catches going for touchdowns. Bottom line: North Shore won its 16th consecutive game and avenged its last defeat with a blowout win over Westfield on Sept.
North Shore, the defending Class 6A Division I state champion, led at halftime against Westfield and returns to action this week at Beaumont United. Bottom line: Westlake is riding a game win streak into its matchup with Lake Travis after a bye week.
